Getting to Elba :
Go to Piombino and take the ferry to Portoferraio (Elba). The trip takes about an hour.
To get to Piombino, you have three options :

The train, which arrives directly at the port of Piombino

By car

By plane + train or by car from Pisa or Florence
You can park your car in Portoferraio in a paid or free parking lot.
